Description of position: A fantastic opportunity for a bright, organised and confident individual to assist within the ever-developing singers department at Hazard Chase Ltd, a classical music artist management company with offices in Cambridge and London. The post (based in our Cambridge office) includes liaising with promoters throughout the world, booking flights, obtaining visas, fixing artists, sourcing programme notes, inputting financial data and producing detailed schedules/itineraries for artists. We offer many opportunities to attend concerts in the UK and sometimes abroad. You would report to one or more artist managers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for their first or second job (full-time), or an experienced person looking to work part-time.
Essential skills: An understanding of the classical music world, good computer skills and attention to detail, patience, flexibility and a good sense of humour. Languages are an advantage and an interest in singing/opera is desirable.
Salary: £17,000 p.a.
